Civil Engineer - Structural Design and Construction

Location: Abuja

Position Overview: We are looking for a  Civil Engineer with extensive knowledge of structural engineering, proficient in AutoCAD, and a proven track record in construction. This role involves leading and overseeing projects, ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our ambitious team, contributing to the success of various construction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage structural design projects, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
2. Utilize AutoCAD and other relevant software for detailed design, drafting, and project documentation.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate structural elements seamlessly into project plans.
4. Conduct site visits and inspections to verify compliance with design specifications and safety protocols.
5. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
6. Stay current with industry trends, codes, and regulations to inform and improve project outcomes.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. Extensive experience in structural design and construction.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Project management experience is highly desirable.

Compensation:

• Salary: ₦250,000 per month
• Monthly Allowance: ₦60,000
• Transportation Allowance: ₦15,000

Additional Information:

This position includes a 3-month trial period, with half of the monthly salary paid during that period.

The monthly salary package includes health insurance and tax.
